Job Description:
Tasks
  • The job holder should be experienced, hands-on deal-maker and alliance builder with experience in identifying market opportunities, managing partner and customer processes, negotiating and closing contracts with professional clients in both rural and urban parts of Pakistan.
  • A key aspect of the job challenge will be to develop the sales network of partners for the Company and consistently drive and follow up sales through this partner network.
  • The Sales Manager will be a key contributor to the management team of the Company.
  • To succeed in the position the job holder will need to exhibit senior management attributes including leadership skills, strong internal motivation and independence while thriving with a high work load.
  • He need to exhibit strong interpersonal skills and be able to establish and maintain deep customer relationships. You are also able to make good prioritization of opportunities and consistently deliver high quality of work.
  • Be responsible for sales activities towards the national market with attention to both sales volume and effective payment rates (customer quality).
  • Develop a network of sales resources and partners in the market
  • Be responsible for providing training to the retailers and customers
  • Engage directly with select, large customers to develop deep and broad customer relationships
  • Structure and negotiate contracts and assist managers and partners in this process
  • Establish and manage a capable management team with particular focus on sales, marketing and business development
Qualification
  • Technical or commercial degree at Bachelor or Technical College level plus 10 years work experience
  • 5 years relevant experience in sales and marketing.
Skills Required
  • A general understanding of the challenges large corporations face in developing the correct skill and competence set throughout their organizations
  • A track record of success from sales and/or building sales networks preferably from the mobile telecom sector.
  • Strong business development skills and good analytical skills
  • Excellent man-management skills, with experience to build organizations and relations
  • Experience in negotiating and closing contracts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude to achieving success
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Additional language skills may be an advantage
