| Job Description: |
- Manage all aspects of customer logistics and execution and effectively manage customers’ credit and execution risks; monitor and manage shipment schedule in a timely manner;
- Maintain subject matter expertise in all import and export operations and evaluate all company businesses and provide required classification for same;
- Design all compliance forms and templates and prepare required reports and maintain efficient import and export classification databases and ensure accuracy in same and ensure compliance to all regulations.
- Assist the organization in import and export operations and implement trade agreement programs and maintain internal controls for the same.
- Communicate with suppliers, buyers, clients, freight forwarders, etc to achieve profitable business proposals of mutual satisfaction.
- Plan, arrange, track and follow up on the delivery of the shipments according to client requirements.
- Correspondence with banks in respect of documents presentation and its negotiation on L/C;
- Administer, transport/shipping and other statutory documentation i.e. NOC, IMCO Terms, shipment approvals, and legal requirements;
- Co-ordination on regular intervals for replenishment and follow-ups, shipment planning as well as updating customers on regular intervals;
- Gather and share customer and market insights, competition activity and industry trends with the team;
